AFTER A SHOOTING, FEAR HAUNTS A FAMILY

In the article "AFTER A SHOOTING FEAR HAUNTS A FAMILY" a family still lives in fear after their home has been shot up or as we should call it pierced with 27 bullets with 13 entering the house. But what some people don’t know, is that there was five people in the home that morning and I was one of the five people in the house when it happen.

When reporters from Philly news came to do a report on the family they were shocked to find out that the youngest person that was in the house when it happened was my three year old nephew. And family still complains about nightmares that the kids have and some of them a still scared to sleep at night. This made them think that this was a big problem.

In my own opinion I think that the people who ever did this to a peaceful family at 5:00 a.m on a summer morning should be a shame of their self! Honestly I think that they don’t even why they did it.

If you were to experence something like this unexpected what would you do? How would you react to the situation knowing that your family is in danger? How would you feel to know that someone shout the house up that your family have been living in for more than 17 years? Hopefully you will never know how it feels until it happens to you, and if it does how would you feel.

SHOULD 16-YEAR-OLDS DRIVE?

In the article "Should 16-year-olds drive?" by Ted Gregory reports says rising age would save more lives on the road by rising the age for the rights to get a driver's license.
In the article President Adrian Lund said "we're still losing a lot of teens on the road each year." in the article they also state that a combination of factors contributes to make teenagers poor drives. And another fact that stood out was that, the institute's seventeen page report collects research on the minimum driving age from the United States and countries that have higher licensing ages.

In my opinion I think that sixteen is an early age for teens to drive and I think teens should be able to get their license when their 18 so that they are more responsible with things, and so that it lower the percentages of vehicle crashes. What really caught my attention was that motor vehicles crashes kill more than 5,000 teenagers every year, that’s what made me consider that teens should be able to first get their license when they are eighteen.

HAITIANS LIVING IN FEAR AFTER THE BIG SHOCK IN 2010

In the article Haitians living in fear 'under the tent' by Allie Torgan, CNN, after the earthquake happen in Haiti in 2010 a lot of people and families were left with no homes and still homeless, and killed 220,000 people. And reports of rates and sexual violence have been all too common after the earthquake also.
The article includes quotes from a woman from Haiti named Dina, "On the evening of January 20, several young men were firing gunshots in the air. They came into our shelter and grabbed my 19-year-old niece, “They just came in, grabbed her and dragged her away. She was raped by several men. They took her at around 9 p.m. and let her go at around 2 a.m." she said. And there also was another report that a woman, named Guerline said that she and her 13-year-old daughter were attacked on the same night in March. This shows that this has been a big problem in Haiti after the earthquake happened in 2010.
I think that this is a big problem that someone should look at because it's not safe for families at night for them and their children to lay their heads down a night because anything can happen to them.
This article makes me think deeply about the topic and that people should pay more attention to what happening in other countries, and not just what’s going on in the United States, because we have bigger problems then what they are focused on now, and this problems need to put a stop to it, and now and i think that we can help by helping them with new homes with security.
